Exemptions
Sometimes, however, we may have to withhold information if we consider that necessary for reasons such as: confidentiality; unwarranted invasion of privacy; commercial sensitivity, or for some other legitimate reason. When considering whether we have to withhold information, we will be guided by the grounds listed in the Freedom of Information Act.
We will also consider whether the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing it. In any event, if we do withhold information, we will explain why we have done so.
