We’ve changed
Welcome to the new Buying Solutions brand.
To enable us to focus on a single, unified brand, we have changed our name from OGCbuying.solutions to Buying Solutions and withdrawn the Catalist and Managed Services sub brands. Our key objective is to simplify the corporate brand and make it more meaningful to customers.
This unified Buying Solutions brand will help us to differentiate ourselves from the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) and reduce confusion in the market place.
Our status as an Executive Agency of OGC remains the same and we continue to work very closely with them to support the Government's collaborative procurement agenda. OGC is about policy and best practice. We are about delivery.
Buying Solutions is the national procurement partner for UK public services and we work collaboratively with other Professional Buying Organisations on a regional basis. We expect to see improved performance as a result of the rebranding, to the mutual benefit of customers, suppliers and above all, the public purse.
Our new brand clarity and placing customer satisfaction firmly at the heart of our strategy, underpins our aim to achieve savings for the taxpayer of £1 billion a year by 2010/11.
This is a very exciting time for Buying Solutions and I feel immensely positive about the coming years. With your help, we can make a major contribution to significantly improving the effectiveness of public sector procurement.
