Welcome to the Public Sector Network (PSN) Services (formerly SNS) Area
Buying Solutions is working closely with Government Departments including Cabinet Office, Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to deliver an IT communications and solutions procurement, called Public Sector Network (PSN) Services.
PSN Services team has also been working closely with the wider public sector to help establish the requirements to inform and shape the framework agreements.
Public Sector Network (PSN) Services aims to deliver:
- the foundation of the Transformational Government Public Sector Network*, to cover the majority of the government's operations, resulting in reduced cost and improved performance
- commercial arrangements that will allow other public sector organisations and their partners to access Public Sector Network compliant services
- access to value-added communications services to deliver improved business productivity and reduce cost
Our work aligns with wider government strategies which include the work on reducing our impact on the environment and increasing value for money of government services. It will also deliver service continuity for the users of the Government Secure Intranet (GSi) and Managed Telecommunications Service (Mts).
