Pathway information solutions
Information solutions are available that are designed to assist healthcare organisations meet the Government's policy initiative that by December 2008 no patient should wait longer than 18 weeks from referral to treatment. A range of web based summary reporting and ad-hoc query analysis tools linked to a SQL data warehouse containing schemes for all standard CDS datasets, a diagnostic event table and an extensive set of configurable data validation rules.
Where hospital systems are able to provide their own Pathway IDs, Pathway Manager will utilise this to link them to all relevant RTT Period events such as outpatient attendances, admissions through to diagnostic tests. Where Pathway IDs are absent, solutions are able to generate own IDs and link to events. Systems are capable of linking events from the following datasets: Accident and Emergency, Outpatient Future Appointments, Outpatient Attendances, Waiting List Events, Elective Admission List, Admitted Patient Care, Diagnostic Events.
