If you are virtualising your estate and require new server and/or storage equipment, these can be procured through Lot 2 – (IT Infrastructure Hardware) of the Commoditised IT Hardware and Software Framework Agreement.
Many servers now come pre-loaded with Virtualisation Software. The Product Store on the website includes the Virtualisation Hardware offerings that may be purchased through a Catalogue Order. If you cannot determine best value for money from the Catalogue, a further competition is required.
