Postal Services

postalservicescover2.jpgThe Postal Services framework agreement commenced on 10 August 2010 and will expire on 9 August 2014. This framework provides public sector bodies with easy access to all their postal services requirements through the following 14 Lots which cover a full range of postal services: 

  • Lot 1  - Collection and delivery to addressee
  • Lot 2  - Consolidation of mail
  • Lot 3  - Secure Mail
  • Lot 4  - Customer Direct Access
  • Lot 5  - Pre-sortation for inbound delivery
  • Lot 6  - PO Boxes
  • Lot 7  - Response Services
  • Lot 8  - Redirection
  • Lot 9  - Undeliverables/Goneaways
  • Lot 10- Hybrid Mail
  • Lot 11- Mail Consultancy
  • Lot 12- Mail Audits
  • Lot 13- Document Exchange
  • Lot 14- Data Cleansing/Address Management

Use of the framework can provide average savings of between 9% and 30% (although savings in excess of this have been achieved through the previous framework).
