Print Services framework agreement (PPRO 004/049/004) expiry and new Print and Print Management framework agreement
The current Print Services framework agreement will expire on 31st March 2012. The Government Procurement Service will be going to market in January 2012 for a new Print and Print Management framework agreement, this will be exclusively for Wider Public Sector organisations use and it is anticipated for customers to be available to access from late April 2012.
Within the scope of the new Print and Print Management framework agreement there will be the requirement of the successful bidders to supply both print services and printing paper as part of a total service delivery.
In line with the Centralised Procurement Programme, which is mandating the use of centrally negotiated contracts for common commodity goods and services a new Central Government Print Vendor Provider contract (including the supply of printing papers) has recently been awarded to Williams Lea and will be utilised by all Central Government departments, Arms Length Bodies and Non-departmental Public Bodies. As part of the conditions of contract, the duration of Call-Off Contracts placed on or after 1 October 2011 will be limited in order not to exceed 31 March 2012.
