Framework details
There are four options available to allow NHS Trusts to obtain the services or product depending on which budgets are available.
- Managed service - This involves identifying the number of machines and engineers required for the site and the hours of service and management/scheduling of the decontaminations.
- Purchase of equipment and consumables – Specific model of machine designed for ease of use. Price agreed for consumables for purchase including bio-indicators. Identified courses for Trust staff to enable them to be trained to a level to be able to operate the equipment safely.
- Maintenance of the equipment including calibration at regular periods.
- Pre-booked decontaminations A number of decontaminations within a 12 month period.
- Emergency call out service for instances when a trust may not have a contract and an outbreak occurs.
