Your Three Coal Suppliers
Government Procurement Service customers have the confidence of knowing that all suppliers have been selected through a rigorous, EU-compliant procurement process and that their performance is constantly monitored.
There are three suppliers on the framework agreement – Coal4Energy, CMR Industrial and Lissan Coal Company.
Coal4Energy evolved from UK Coal and is one of the few mining companies left in England, so its product is not imported. The firm offers a mixture of product types and sizes and can provide technical advice.
CMR Industrial also mines in the UK and can provide a mixture of types and sizes. Account management teams provide technical assistance.
Lissan Coal Company supplies Northern Ireland only. Its product is imported - although meeting stringent specifications - mostly from Columbia.
All of the suppliers are able to provide technical advice and assistance where a change of product may require adjustments to burners. They have also all agreed that, where a new product is adopted, a no-obligation three month trial is acceptable.
