Government Procurement Service has a dedicated Customer Acquisition team to guide you through the process of participating in its framework agreements.  We can offer advice on how to find the information required to complete our templates.

We will ask you to provide details of your sites, energy requirements, current volumes, and anticipated start date and we will send you a new starter pack which includes a Customer Access Agreement (CAA) and Stage 1 template.  To bring your sites onto our contract, you will need to complete both.  We are unable to add a customer to a procurement round without a signed CAA.

Our CAA is a much more comprehensive document than in the past and clearly sets out the expectations and responsibilities of both parties.  There are two versions of the Agreement, one for Crown bodies and one for non-Crown bodies.

You can view a sample CAA by accessing the left hand menu option.

Once we have both documents, our Customer Acquisition team will check all the information provided and send your site requirements off for pricing. They will then be included automatically in one of our procurement rounds – or you can select the round you wish to be in.

You will receive an email from the team, welcoming you to the contract and providing you with all the information you will need during your contract with us. This will include supplier details and new contact details for your Energy Customer Contact, who will be your day-to-day contact whilst you are on the contract.

As part of the tri-party arrangement, customers will also be required to sign a formal supply agreement with each supplier from whom they take a supply.  These will be sent to each customer directly from the supplier concerned.

For electricity and gas, the contract must be signed before delivery of supply and details the meter points being supplied. For liquid fuels, the contract terms apply upon each call-off.

NB: As we are not an energy broker, we are unable to give quotes or indicative prices for comparison purposes or to offer deals on energy prices.
