eSourcing
The eSourcing Services framework agreement expired on 13 October 2011.
After careful consideration it was decided not to renew this framework. A procurement has been undertaken to provide a new central eSourcing platform, which will include contract and supplier management modules.
The new platform is required to support the procurement activities of Government Procurement Service and its customers (both Central Government and other public sector organisations). The contract was awarded in November 2011 and the implementation of the new system has now commenced and is due to be fully operational by July 2012.
Following implementation customers will be able to call-off licences to access the tools if they do not already have eSourcing systems in place.
