Sale of Total Oil UK

Total UK has been sold to Rontec and as a result we have terminated their framework agreement. All affected customers have been contacted by Rontec regarding their intention to move all existing agreements to Shell as Totalcard accounts will cease to function after February 2012. If you have any concerns about this change or would like to discuss other fuel card options please contact the ePayments team via the customer service desk by calling 0345 410 2222 or emailing info@gps.gsi.gov.uk

Allstar Business Solutions Ltd

Following our notice advising customers that Arval has moved their fuel card contracts to another group company, Allstar Business Solutions Ltd (Allstar); please be aware that Allstar has been sold in its entirety to FleetCor UK Acquisition Ltd (FleetCor), a wholly owned subsidiary of FleetCor Technologies Inc.

We have carried out due diligence to our satisfaction and have consented to this change of control.

If you have an agreement with Allstar you do not need to take any action as your fuel card programme will not be affected.

Managing fuel expenditure in any organisation can prove to be a difficult and time consuming task. Our range of fuel card solutions can help simplify this process, granting organisations more control over spending on automotive fuel and providing drivers with a convenient method of payment.

The Fuel Cards framework agreement offers a number of highly successful fuel card programmes with Allstar Business Solutions (formerly Arval), BP, Keyfuels and Shell.

The offering provides public sector organisations with access to a pre-negotiated, fully OJEU-compliant framework agreement which meets the Procurement Policy Note (PPN)13/08 26 November 2008 (which replaced PPN 08/08 dated 1 July 2008) relating to data handling.

The ePayments team manage the framework agreement and provide:

  • advice and guidance on the framework agreement
  • contract management
  • specific support to start and/or expand existing Fuel Cards programmes
  • management and support for Further Competitions

This area explains the benefits of using fuel cards, provides an overview of the framework agreement and describes how you can establish your own programme.
