Payment Card Solutions & Associated Services (GPC 3)

GPC.jpgLot 1: Procurement Cards of the Payment Card Solutions framework has been extended for 12 months until 31 January 2013.

The Payment Card Solutions & Associated Services framework agreement has been let as the replacement for the well established Government Procurement Card programme.

Unlike GPC, which was contracted exclusively to Visa Europe and a consortium of Visa Member Banks, this framework agreement has been awarded directly to a wider range of suppliers offering greater choice and flexibility in terms of product and service offering. This approach continues the longstanding and successful relationship we have with Visa Europe via the Card Issuers, and also provides opportunities for greater competition by the inclusion of American Express and MasterCard related services. 

This framework agreement has extended its scope and also offers a choice of prepayment products (Lot 2) and web-based data integration solutions, expense management and associated services including VAT recovery and data mining services (Lot 3) that meet Cabinet Office requirements for secure data handling.
