ePayment Solutions

Our Payment Solutions category provides access to a range of mechanisms which can help public sector organisations better manage their expenditure on low value/high volume goods and automotive fuel and accept payments for goods and services by debit and credit cards.

http://online.ogcbuyingsolutions.gov.uk/graphics/notices/gma/WorkStation3.jpgThe Government Procurement Card framework agreement provides access to the highly successful GPC purchasing card, delivered in partnership with Visa Europe and six Card Issuing Banks. Under the same framework agreement, Travel and Subsistence (T&S) and Virtual cards are also available. This framework agreement expires on 31 January 2010.

The Payment Cards Solutions & Associated Services framework agreement has been let as the new replacement payment card service.

Unlike GPC, which was contracted exclusively to Visa Europe and a consortium of Visa Member Banks, this framework agreement (Lot 1) has been awarded directly to six Card Issuers, offering a wider range of suppliers and providing greater choice and flexibility in terms of product and service.

The scope of this new framework agreement has been extended and now offers a choice of prepayment products (Lot 2) and web-based data integration solutions, Expense Management and associated services, including VAT recovery and Data Mining services (Lot 3).

Fuel Cards provide public sector organisations with a simple mechanism to efficiently manage and control their spending on automotive fuel. The Fuel Card framework agreement provides access to a number of highly successful fuel card programmes which are operated by ARVAL, BP, Keyfuels, Royal Bank of Scotland, Shell and Total.

The Government Merchant Acquiring (GMA) framework agreement facilitates the acceptance of credit and debit card payments for goods and services from businesses and the general public. The framework agreement, which was awarded to Barclaycard Business, HSBC, Lloyds TSB Cardnet and RBS Streamline provides access to a variety of payment facilities, ranging from individual Chip and Pin terminals to fully integrated, automatic Internet-based solutions.

To explore these frameworks agreements in greater detail, please use the left hand menu links which appear under the Payment Solutions heading at the top of this page.
