Buying Solutions - The National Procurement Partner for UK Public Services

This Lot provides Consultancy advice on the development of appropriate solutions to support achievement of a new or existing business strategy and is designed to provide continued support during the implementation of change in an advisory role (but not providing the solution) such as:

• advising on the management of structural and/or operational changes within an organisation in delivering its strategies, purposes and objectives.
• strategies concerned with internal organisation and operations or strategies concerned with the delivery of outward-facing core organisational activities/public services.
• organisation-wide change or to change within a particular functional area

 Topics which may arise under this area include: 

• change management strategy, including cultural change assessment, change readiness reviews, capability building, mentoring change leaders and application of recognized tools and techniques (such as Business Process re-engineering, Lean)
• appraising business structures, business architecture and operating models
• structural reviews, organizational diagnosis, role design and re-organisation
• business performance measurement and reviews including: - Vfm; Efficiency; Capability; Competency; Due diligence; Service transformation, rationalisation, quality and efficiency improvements; Business sourcing; Commissioning; Joint ventures and strategic alliances, mergers, investments and acquisitions; Commercialisation advice; Business planning activities; Communications and employee/stakeholder engagement; Risk management, recovery and contingency planning advice; Skills and knowledge transfer; Sustainability and sustainable development
