About the Scheme
In December 2007 Buying Solutions signed a 2 year BT Accumulate contract and supporting Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for £10M per year, covering BT voice calls and line rentals. This aggregates public sector spend on BT voice-related telecoms to achieve BT's highest available level of discount for line rentals, positioning Buying Solutions as BT's customer ("The Crown"), and eligible public sector organisations as subsidiaries.
BT Accumulate complements the Premier Value scheme for voice calls by adding line rentals to the scope of the public sector aggregation. BT Accumulate, like Premier Value and Netstream Corporate, is available to Central and Local Government, Healthcare, Education and "Blue Light" organisations (full eligibility is detailed in the BT Accumulate Terms).
The BT Accumulate contract in essence comprises an extension of the existing Buying Solutions' £10M annual commitment from one to two years. As a result, participating public sector organisations can take advantage of the maximum 17% discount rate for BT PSTN and ISDN line rentals, without any exposure or risk on their part.
Please note that standard BT terms apply. As this is not a Framework Agreement, there are no other applicable terms and conditions.
Benefits Summary
- BT's highest discount rate on line rentals - 17%
- No Commitment from, or risk to the public sector customers
- This discount is in addition to ISDN long term contract discount that individual organisations may have.
