Make cashable savings with eAuctions - financial support is available now

If you can commit to running an eAuction with a value of at least £1million through one of the many category frameworks offered by Buying Solutions, before the end of March 2010,   we can offer you an allowance towards the cost of setting up and running the eAuction. . This is a limited offer and financial support will be provided on a case by case basis.

Buying Solutions have recently co-ordinated eAuctions across mobile solutions, IT hardware and furniture with customers benefiting from savings figures ranging from 13% to 45% across these categories.

eAuctions are increasingly being used across Government as an effective procurement tool providing an excellent value for money solution for public sector spend and are designed to encourage competition and optimise cost savings.

Ian Beverley; Director of Procurement for North Yorkshire County Council, who instigated a mobile solutions auction in March 2009  on behalf of a number of collaborative partners (Richmondshire, Hambleton, Selby and Craven District Councils and the North Yorks Moors National Park) said:

“eAuctions are a powerful tool for delivering significant savings when used in the appropriate circumstances, and auctioning a service such as telephony has delivered outstanding results for North Yorkshire.

On each occasion this process has been used as the further competition process under a Buying Solutions framework agreement, ensuring minimum procurement overheads for maximum savings return.”

Rob Knapman, Buying Solutions eCommerce Director affirms that this innovative approach to eAuctions allows customers to benefit from Buying Solutions unique position as both an expert in eProcurement and a provider of value for money framework agreements.
