  • The Advisory Services category contains a portfolio of framework agreements which offer a value for money compliant route to market for a comprehensive range of services including Management, Legal, Financial and Audit Consultancy Services providing specialist knowledge and advice.

    Procuring specialist advisory services can be a complicated and complex process with specific concerns around the correct choice of supplier, definition of requirements, ability to deliver and value for money.

    A series of framework agreements has been specifically designed to meet the needs of customers in the public sector. These frameworks are easy to use, compliant with EU procurement directives and consistently deliver excellent value.

    The Advisory Services category is sub-divided as follows:

    • ICT – this includes a comprehensive range of consultancy services for information and communications areas
    • Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy (MDC) – is designed for large transformational projects to provide a one-stop shop for advisory support throughout a project’s entire lifecycle. The disciplines included are finance, human resources, ICT, procurement, programme and project management, and strategy formulation and implementation
    • Management Consultancy & Accounting Services (MCAS) – this framework agreement provides consultancy advice on business strategy, organisational change management, HR, procurement, project and programme management, marketing, finance and economics, accounting services along with audit and assurance / forensic accounting which is appropriate for all public sector organisations with variations specifically tailored for the healthcare and local government arenas.

    The future Management Consultancy Landscape 

    Government Procurement Service is creating a single framework for business and management consultancy and related services, due to commence in summer 2012, called “consultancyONE”.  

    Who would buy the service?

    Anyone in the public sector can use this service, from the smallest school to the largest government department.
