The Advisory Services category is sub-divided as follows:
- ICT – this includes a comprehensive range of consultancy services for information and communications areas
- Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy (MDC) – is designed for large transformational projects to provide a one-stop shop for advisory support throughout a project’s entire lifecycle. The disciplines included are finance, human resources, ICT, procurement, programme and project management, and strategy formulation and implementation
- Management Consultancy & Accounting Services (MCAS) – this framework agreement provides consultancy advice on business strategy, organisational change management, HR, procurement, project and programme management, marketing, finance and economics, accounting services along with audit and assurance / forensic accounting which is appropriate for all public sector organisations with variations specifically tailored for the healthcare and local government arenas.

Government Procurement Service is creating a single framework for business and management consultancy and related services, due to commence in summer 2012, called “consultancyONE”.
Who would buy the service?
Anyone in the public sector can use this service, from the smallest school to the largest government department.
