This service provides learning and development solutions across 22 key competency areas ranging from communications, marketing and customer service to working with ministers, management, leadership and policy skills. A wide range of bespoke training options and off-the-shelf training courses, including courses leading to recognised qualifications are available.
It has been sponsored by Government Skills - the Sector Skills Council for central government and the components have been built around the Professional Skills for Government competency framework, which sets out the skills which people need to get on and move up in the civil service.
